Additional information about the time series
As of 4 February 2026, several methodological changes have taken effect in the HICP inflation data as announcement by Eurostat. On the same day, the ECB discontinued the current Indices of Consumer Prices - ICP dataset on the ECB Data Portal and replaced it with a new HICP dataset that accurately reflects the methodological changes by Eurostat.
