Currency converter

The Currency Converter application gives the users the possibility of converting an amount from one currency to another. It can be accessed at any time by clicking on the Currency Converter link in the service navigation menu located at the top of the page.

Both the ECB reference exchange rates (source dataset "EXR") and all exchange rates as provided by Bloomberg (source dataset "FX") are covered. The logic used in the conversion is as follows: ECB reference exchange rates prevails over Bloomberg rates. Please keep also in mind that the "EXR" dataset is updated every day around 16:00 (Euro foreign exchange rates)) while the "FX" dataset is collected at the end of the day and updated overnight.
